Canada Day at Niagara Falls

I went to Niagara Falls for Canada Day (July 1) with some friends. I had Klaus, who was driving the other car, lead so that I would not lead everyone to lost-dom, but it didn't work. We ended up going over 30 mins in the wrong direction before we discovered the mistake. An hour later, when we finally got on the QEW, we were in bumper-to-bumper traffic and moving very slowly. So eventually we took side roads (went down a one-way street the wrong way) and got there a mere 5 hours later (not the 1hr 45 mins suggested by Mapquest). It was incredibly crowded, but we had fun! However, it took over an hour for us to get back to our vehicles because the bus system that was supposed to take us out to the parking lot was caught in the not-moving traffic. Once out of there, we again took sideroads home--this time without getting lost, and finally got back to Waterloo at 3 am.

These are the American Falls at night after the fireworks.
