Pics from Giana and Sarah's visit

I'm headed off to Quebec at 7:00 am tomorrow, but I thought I'd show you some of the stuff Sarah, Giana, and I did this last week. The above pictures were taken in Waterloo, Dundas (along the Bruce trail), and Niagara Falls (all in Ontario).

Dreamhouse

I've been pretty busy lately trying to find an apartment, then a roommate, and now furniture. It all makes me wonder what kind of house I want eventually. While in Toronto this weekend I came across houses that were more creative than my wildest dreams/nightmares. Take a look:


This place is straight out of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"


Who wouldn't want a huge concrete elephant in the front lawn? Actually, I was with my roommate and as I stopped to take a picture, two women turned in to the elephant's yard and entered the house. Despite my roommate's embarassment, I was determined to get my picture, so I waited until the door was shut and then snapped this.


It's a little harder to see the uniqueness of this house, but take a closer look. It's covered with lights, bobbins, bicycles, ghoulish masks. So was the mini van in front of the house, but I didn't take a picture of that. Notice spiderman up on top of the pole.
