Wrong Number

A few minutes ago I picked up the phone. A male voice on the other end that sounds like one of my roommate's friends (who calls a lot) says:

"Hey there! How are you?"

"Fine."

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

He started talking about something, at which point I realised he probably thought I was my roommate, but just to make sure, I ask: "Who are you?"

"Dennis."

As I finally conclude that he is my roommate's old boss that she's been trying to get in touch with for a while about income tax slips, he asks: "Is this Cindy?"

At which point I realize I am totally off. But I politely tell him he must have the wrong number. However, instead of hanging up, he says: "Well, you have a nice voice. You're very quiet. How old are you?"

After an awkward pause (Not only is this a weird question to be asked by a stranger over the phone, but I can't remember my age), I say: "I'm 23"

"33?"

"No...23"

"Oh...Are you married?"

"No."

"Ok. Well it's been nice talking to you. Good bye."

Weird.
