Pride and Prejudice
I love Pride and Prejudice. For that matter, I love anything written by Jane Austen. I even think there are some great movies out there based on the books (which is certainly not true for all great books). My recent favourite is an Indian adaptation: Bride and Prejudice. Like many other Indian movies, it is long (on the plus side, it's less than three hours) and has random bits of singing in it, but it's great (not spectacular, or anything--just hilarious if you don't take anything in it too seriously). I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for some Pride and Prejudice, but don't feel like watching all six hours of the A&E version.
