New Pope Benedict XVI

I'm happy to see that the Vatican cardinals have chosen someone who is not overly influenced by worldly--in particular, Western--opinion and who said, in criticism of it: "We are moving toward a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as definitive and has as its highest value one's own ego and one's own desires."

Even though I'm not Catholic, I like knowing that at least one thing can be counted on to evaluate and influence the world from a point of view critical of political correctness.
